Rescue organizations nationwide save abandoned and homeless dogs from shelters, where in
some cases dogs may be euthanized in as little as a week if they are not adopted. When resources are stretched to the limit, one organization reaches out to another through an amazing network, to find foster homes and ideally permanent adoptions. But sometimes the destination is far away, demanding a network of drivers, coordinated by meeting one another at approximately one hour intervals. Much like getting all those B.B.'s in the right holes at the same time. Pilots can cover greater distances in less time, easing the stress on already traumatized animals.
Team Mutt Muffs is honored to volunteer our time and aircraft to help save some precious lives. For more information on how you can help, visit Pilot N Paws and ARF (Animal Rescue Flights).

The slide shows go annoyingly fast, but if you hover your cursor over the picture, the controls appear. Pause it, and then move one to the next at your leisure. Enjoy. |
